Course

2 (Two) year Japanese Language Course

  1. Preparation course for sitting the N1 level of the JLPT(Japanese Language Proficiency Test)
  2. Preparation course for sitting the Japanese National nursing or caregiver license exam.

Eligibility

1.Caregiver license

Those who wish to gain the Japanese National Caregiver license.

Requirement:
Applicant has to have graduated from a 4-year university course and received certification as a care worker or graduated from a nursing course overseas.

2.Nursing license

Those who wish to attain the national nursing qualification in Japan.

Requirement:Applicant has to have;

  • attained nursing qualification
  • completed 12 years of school education (or equivalent) based on a course of study overseas.
  • completed more than 97 units (total study hours of more than 3,000) in nursing schools over 3 years.

The process of sitting the Japanese National nursing exam for foreigners (example)

  1. April 2014

    Sit N1 exam (JLPT exam is held twice in a year, July 6th and December 7th.)

The process of sitting the "Japanese Caregiver license exam" for Filipino and Indonesian Candidates which has EPA(Economic Partnership Agreement) program between Japan.

  1. You can earn two year experience of Japanese Caregiver field in our academy.
    After graduation from HIJLA
  2. After graduation from the HIJLA, return to your home country and apply to the EPA (Economic Partnership Agreement) program around June via Internet website. You will need an additional year caregiving experience under the EPA program. Total over 3 years, then you can sit Japanese Care-worker exam during EPA period.

  3. After passing exam, you will be able to work in Japan as a qualified care−worker.
  1. Minimum requirement to join EPA program in the future, after graduation of HIJLA
  2. 1.For Nurse EPA program candidates requirement
  3. ››Filipino
    • Registered Nurse accredited by Philippine law and who has at least 3 years practical paid hospital experience as nurse.
  4. ››Indonesian
    • Registered Nurse accredited by Indonesian law and who has over 2 years hospital experience as a nurse.
  5. 2.For Caregiver EPA program candidates requirement
  6. ››Filipino
    • Applicant has to have graduated from a 4-year university course with Bachelor's degree and received certification as a care-worker from Philippine Government, TESDA or graduated from a nursing course in Philippine which is accredited by the Philippine Government.
  7. ››Indonesian
    • Applicant has to have graduated from a university in Indonesia or who has achieved over diploma III from a higher educational institution and also received certification as a care-worker after finishing care-worker training from the Indonesian government. Or those who have graduated with diploma III from a nursing school in Indonesia.

News
Japanese Government announced that Japan will accept a maximum of 400 candidates for nurse EPA program in 2015. Also, maximum capacity of 300 candidates each from Philippine and Indonesia for Caregiver EPA program in 2014. During your HIJLA period, if you can pass the N1 or N2 exam, you will not be required to gain one year of Japanese language study under the EPA program.
